HUMAN RIGHTS

Here is an approach to the Declaration of Human Rights. This is based on the translation into English of a simplified version in Portuguese.

1. All children are born with the right to be free.
2. The rights mentioned in the Declaration of Human Rights are for men or woman equally despite the colour of their skin, their language, their ideas, their religion, their social status, or their nationality.
3. Everyone has the right to be free.
4. No one has the right to enslave any man or woman.
5. No one has the right to do evil.
6. Everyone has the right to be protected by law anywhere in the world.
7. The Law must be equally applied to all.
8 Everyone has the right to the protection of justice.
9 Everyone has the right to live freely in one’s country.
10. Everyone has the right to unbiased judgment.
11. Everyone has the right to the presumption of innocence. Everyone has the right to a defense.
12. Everyone has the right to one’s privacy and reputation.
13. Everyone has the right to free circulation in any country.
14. Everyone has the right to request asylum.
15. Everyone has the right to have a nation and the right to change one’s nationality.
16. Everyone has the right to have a family without discrimination.
17. Everyone has the right to ownership.
18. Everyone has the right to have the liberty to choose a religion.
19. Everyone has the right to have freedom of speech and of thinking.
20. Everyone has the right to pacific meetings. You must participate only if you wish to.
21. Everyone has the right to participate in the politics of one’s country.
22. Everyone has the right to benefit from all advantages that society has to offer.
23. Everyone has the right to have a condign job and salary either if you are a man or a woman.
24. Everyone has the right to good work conditions.
25. Everyone has the right to good living conditions.
26. Everyone has the right to free education.
27. Everyone has the right to benefit from art and science production.
28. Everyone has the right to a universal ‘order’ that protects your rights.
29. Everyone has rights and duties.
30. You mustn`t destroy the rights mentioned previously.
