ABOUT MY CLASS

My name is Daniel Vieira Lima and I’m 15 years old. I’m in year 8 class B. There are nineteen students, there are nine girls and ten boys. I like my class very much.
I’m the tallest of my class. João Neto is the shortest. All the girls are boring. Andreia Vale and Andreia Coutada are the most boring of all the girls. Andreia Silva is very quiet but Adriana is very talkative. I’m the laziest of all the boys but I’m the quietest in most classes.
In conclusion, my class is nice and fun. I like it very much.

CITY vs. COUNTRYSIDE (2)

In my opinion the countryside is a better place to live in. I live in the countryside. I don't like the city.
Firstly, I live in the countryside because the countryside is more relaxing than the city. The countryside is calm and quiet. The people in the countryside are happier than who's living in the city.
Secondly, I don´t like the city because the city is noisier than the countryside. The city is dirtier than the countryside. The city is more stressing than the countryside but the city is the most liberal.

BOYS, GIRLS AND FASHION

In my opinion, fashion is very important for boys and for girls.
Firstly, some girls love fashion and going shopping.
Secondly, sometimes boys are more extravagant than girls.
Finally, in my opinion girls are the same as boys, some more extravagant than others, but they are the same.

CITY vs. COUNTRYSIDE

In my opinion the city is the best. I love the city.
Firstly, the city is more liberal than the countryside and it is more progressive than the countryside.
Secondly, the city is very active and the countryside is very calm and I do not like it calm.
I live in the countryside but I like the city.

Mr Lima – Go along here till you come to a roundabout. Go round the roundabout, take the second turning on the left. Go along this street. Take the second turning on the left, then go along street, go past the chemist’s shop, the police station and bank. Turn left and go under the bridge. The Palace Theatre is on the right.
Ms Ferreira – Go round the roundabout, take the second turning on the left, turn left at the bank and go under the bridge?
Mr Lima – Yes and the Palace Theatre is in that street.

HOME SWEET HOME 3

My name is Vítor. I’m 12 years old. I live in Balugães. I have three dogs, and one cat.
My house is a detached house. My house is made of brick, tiles and glass. There are 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a toilet, a living room, a dining room, 1 kitchen, a garage, a big garden, a study, a pantry and a hall.
My favourite place in the house is my bedroom. There is bed, a bedside table, a lamp, an alarm clock, a closet, a wardrobe, drawers, a pillow and a bedspread.
I have plenty of space there.

My name is Marisa and I am twelve years old. I live in Durrães and I have a sister. I live in a detached house, it is made of concrete. There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, a kitchen and a garage.
The favourite part of my house is my bedroom. My bed is between the bedside tables and in front of the chest of drawers. My closet is next to the door. My bedroom is between another bedroom and a bathroom.
